Village Theatre KIDSTAGE is presenting the musical “Beauty and the Beast” this spring and Miss Petry will be taking a group of 3 students to the show on Friday, April 22nd at 7:30 PM. The cast for this show includes former IVE students Luca Nardi and Aresa Berry. Zoe Johnson (also an IVE alum) will be working on the production team as an assistant director/choreographer.

You are invited to enter a magical forest to create enchanting fairies! Will you make a Snow Fairy or a Flower Fairy? A Harvest Fairy or a Love Fairy? Learn basic skills and then use your imagination to design a fairy of your choice. These enchanting creatures make wonderful keepsakes or gifts for both friends and family! Mrs. Keltner and Mrs. Thoburn would love to spend an afternoon making fairies and enjoying some fairy food with you in their enchanted forest. Event will take place on Wednesday, April 6th 1-2pm.

10 lucky 5th grade students will meet outside the gym to play an ultimate game of dodge ball against the 5th Grade teachers, then we all will head over to the Teacher’s Lounge to eat some yummy pizza and build an amazing ice cream sundae with the works! This ultimate experience takes place on Friday March 25th from 3:30-4:30.

Chihuly Garden and Glass is an exhibit in the Seattle Center showcasing the studio glass of Dale Chihuly. The exhibit opened in 2012. The exhibit opened May 21, 2012 at the Seattle Center at the former site of the Fun Forest. The project includes three primary components: the Garden, the Glasshouse, and the Interior Exhibits, with significant secondary spaces including a 90 seat café with additional outdoor dining, a 50 seat multi-use theater and lecture space, retail and lobby spaces, and extensive public site enhancements beyond the Garden.

One month after school care at Primetime Learning Center. Our Center is located along Newport Way, next to IVE. Our staff will pick up your child Monday to Friday (including Wednesday). They will walk to Center with other IVE students who go to Primetime. We provide snacks, arts and crafts, playtime and homework help. We are open until 6 pm.
